REopen lens section

realise i got so emotion weeks ago. (reading my own blog...hehe...)

these time i've research on the law thingy in Singapore.

emailed and called up MOH (Ministry Of Health) in SG. They replied that no sales within Singapore (which i had already announced) but if i supply overseas, it is not their business, and i will not be affected. told by the MOH. So im re-opening my site again.

If sg customer wants lens, pls get from overseas sellers.

No lens selling online to singaporean.

only registered optometrists and opticians (contact lens practitioners) are currently allowed to prescribe and dispense contact lenses, including cosmetic contact lenses, under the Optometrists and Opticians Act in SG.

straits time news:

Seriously i can understand why singapore is setting up these rules/laws/acts. I had several
times emailed and ask other sellers for other brands supplies, such as hyper lens, gng, dueba...etc. But when i take in stocks, im very careful, cos i will ask for ems either from japan or from korea, and certs. ems is very important, ems shows where the lens came from, seller address, and the stocks are lenses. there r sellers who promise to show me e japan/korea ems, but after preordering 1pair for myself they say they dun have it. i know some of them took stocks from another seller...meaning there are middleman in between, but no matter what the stocks comes from korea/japan, will have a ems proof. for me, i will not sell lens which i didnt get to see proof. but it doesnt means every seller will do the same. Meaning selling lens without knowing where the lens come from, the authenticity. So if u r buying lens from overseas now, cos u cant find it in sg, then ask for the ems, especially hyperlens, gng, dueba. From november, i've ask several sellers, about 8-9 sellers, and sadly to say, none can show me ems proof, or avoid my qns/email when i ask abt ems proof. thats y i only selling geo n seashell cos both r from korea manufacturer. (in e past sell gng/dueba took from a trustable seller, but she stopped selling).

And there are alot young ladies...1st timer in wearing lens. duno the methods or how to take care of lens. Duno how bad it can be if the maintenance are wrong. for eg, sleeping with lens on,will cause corneal ulcers. Seriously i duno alot of things 2 years back. (although i wear color lens for 7-8yrs.) 2 yrs ago, i got eye infection when i wear durasoft (a yearly lens under freshlook brand)...the optical shops that i used to go to didnt really tell me the proper steps of maintenance, i only know alot of things when i google alot before selling lens.
so if brought lens online, customers will be even more ignorance of caring methods for lens.

and 1 impt thing, optical shop markets in SG.. 100% sales dropped for these few years due to
online lens selling. who wants to buy a monthly freshlook lens at S$30-45 when there is korea yearly lens with more variety of designs/colors selling even cheaper. The best solution to maintain the market in SG is to stop all these sellers.
stupid.
few years later, when i run out of lens, i will buy from overseas online, US HK AUS CAN alot of places are selling online too. since i have no problem wearing these lens, i will still wear them.there r no scientific proof that korea lens r not good
im sure alot people will be buying too.

thanks everyone. from the bottom of my heart.

only registered optometrists and opticians (contact lens practitioners) are currently allowed to prescribe and dispense contact lenses, including cosmetic contact lenses, under the Optometrists and Opticians Act in SG.

MY LENSES WILL BE SOLD TO OVERSEAS. SINGAPOREAN PLEASE DONT ASK/ EMAIL/SMS ME. THANKS.
I'll clear my stocks but only for overseas customer.

Ministry of Health in Singapore say cannot sell lens to sg people, ask me remove my online things. and ya, i dun wan so much trouble cos now most important thing is my studies....1 more year i complete my art course.
:)

but seriously im sad. not because i cant sell e lens n earn money, of course its great to earn money selling things online.but i realise i really enjoy serving people in this way. am i going to lose all my clients from SG, US, Austria, Canada...etc....? I really love serving u all, from the bottom of my heart. (although i must really admit, sometimes i really drag myself to my laptop because i got tonnes of emails enquiries to reply to.)

if i am not selling anything regardless new items or what..i will miss u the effort i put in. its not money concern................... i will miss how i pack their things nicely, yes i spend money to get nice wrapping plastic bags and even brought a machine for sealing the wrapping... those that received my parcels before will know what i mean. (maybe not for those at the beginning stage or people that get wholesale cos a lot pairs i use stylofoam lens packaging.) What i did are extra service, and extra money involved...for every parcel. And if i add in the wrapping, i will pay even more for the postage. (i swear its truth!...with the wrapping, its slightly overweigh than without wrapping, thus pay more for postage.) But i still continue with the nice wrapping. Cos i hope client that receive the parcel will be please with what i did. although it a minor thing...

out of so many online shopping, i ever brought something from http://nicestuff.wordpress.com/, she wrapped things very nicely, knowing its a gift. From there, i feel her passion for serving me asa client, n not only wanting to sell n earn money. And i learned from her, from that minor thing she did that touches me.

i posted clients' stuff immediate on the day itself or the next day morning (not during my exam period/ or when post office is close) n they receive ASAP with a big smile on their face.I know how impatient one can get when u order stuff online. cos im a online shoppers too.

ALL THESE ARE FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

Im thankful for ur support.
Im thankful for the comment/whitelisting.
Im thankful for recommending ur friends.
Im thankful for customers and friends help me, listen to me complaining...
